Ms. Mary's Middle School Science Class

Welcome to Middle School Science! I am looking forward to getting to know each of your families this year, and feel tremendously honored to have the opportunity to be your child’s teacher. I love working with kids of all ages, and hope to bring science to life this year!

This classroom page will serve as a resource for all families to follow along as we explore General Science. Apologia will serve as the base for most of our science curriculum. However, my plan is to supplement journal and lab style activities using a number of resources including Science and STEAM Team, Real Science for Kids, Generation Genius, and content from Teachers Pay Teacher. Students will build a separate science journal that will include these activities, notes, and any additional information given during in-class lessons. Finally, I plan to use a number of different activities to gauge student understanding and comprehension, which includes games, journals/labs, quick daily warm ups, and check-ins.
