Ms. Jenny's Lower Elementary Class

I am inspired by the Montessori approach, and I aim to create an environment that encourages the children to be independent, curious in their learning and to grow at their own pace. Hands-on learning, freedom within limits, and a thoughtfully prepared environment are the foundation in our classroom. Please note that in our classroom, we do not rely heavily on workbooks or worksheets so, do not be alarmed if you do not see a lot of traditional "homework" coming home. Instead, the children record their work and progress in their notebooks, which will remain in the classroom until they are full or until the end of the school year.

Our school theme this year is "Be the Light." I pray that our classroom will be a place where your child can clearly see Christ's light shining through all that we do. Through our words and our actions. I pray that kindness and compassion fill our classroom this year and that every child can grow in faith and become more like Jesus each day.
