Attached is the Scope and Sequence for our second quarter of school.

Good morning!

This week, we are continuing through the following lessons in the Good and the Beautiful workbooks:

8th Grade:

Monday, October 20:

• Lesson 26 — Solving One-Step Equations

• Lesson 27 — Solving Two-Step Equations

This week, we are having a test over lessons 11–20 and then continuing with the next lessons in the Good and the Beautiful workbooks.

8th Grade:

Monday, September 29:

• Test (lessons 11–20)

Wednesday, October 1

• Lesson 23 — Adding and Subtracting in Scientific Notation

Parents,

Attached here is a copy of the practice test that your student should complete at home to prepare for the test next week. They were also given a physical copy during class this week.

This practice test will be graded. Please help me ensure they complete this before the first day of math class next week (Monday/Tuesday).
